GET UP, STAND UP’ BOB MARLEY SONG IN RADIO STATIONS

Numerous radio stations all around Europe have responded to the call to action from the UN Millennium Campaign Europe to join the ‘Stand Up, Take Action’ mobilisation. The radios played the Bob Marley song ‘Get up, Stand up’ during 16, 17 and 18 October, and said a few words about the initiative and how to join it, prior to broadcasting the song. In a synchronized time-slot (7-9 pm GMT+1) on 17 October, the radio stations also played the Bob Marley song simultaneously. Thank you to all of them!
