Global Conversations
The United Nations Millennium Campaign’s “Global Conversations” are a series of online conversations that bring people across the globe together to focus the world’s attention on the issues that matter to our generation: poverty and its root causes. The unfiltered conversations between global influencers and citizens around the world are broadcast live on Facebook. Facebook and also available for broadcast in real time by the global media. Viewers are encouraged to start their own online conversations about the roles that all of us can play in demanding that our governments keep their promises to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

This year, the Millennium Campaign is planning a series of conversations leading up to the MDG Review Summit to be held at the UN in September. In such an important year for the MDGs, the voices of citizens must be heard and acknowledged by their leaders. The Global Conversations offer a platform to promote and magnify these authentic voices in support of the achievement of the MDGs.

Stay tuned to www.endpoverty2015.org for information on upcoming conversations.
